About Kally Tea

Health, Age, Weight, and many other factors contributed to our discovery in the pleasures of centuries old traditions of tea.

As we have aged, we have consumed the countless drinks available to the daily consumer. As our education into how food and drink are grown and produced, we strived to discover “what can we drink that would provide satisfaction as well as health benefits?” Slowly we delved into the area of teas.

The shelves in grocery stores have countless valuable shelf footage devoted to all the various brands, flavors, and packaging available. But alas, in either tea bag or freeze dried “instant” forms. Sally first began to steer into the direction of all the health benefits of teas and herbals. After time, and gallons and gallons of sun tea, she discovered the term “loose leaf tea” and she thought, “Hmmm, what’s this stuff?” Grocery store tea bags are pretty much all we knew at that time.

She investigated further and made some purchases. The loose leaf tea began to arrive. Initially, I was not as enthusiastic as Sally was when she would say “Here, try some of this, it’s wonderful”. Tea bags were still “Sooo easy…”

One evening I sipped some of Sally’s offerings.

I was converted!

For quite some time Sally had acquired many different flavors and types of teas, rooibos’ and herbals. Now with the whole household full tilt into this loose leaf tea world, we became (what is best described as) obsessed!

We could not get enough, whites, greens, rooibos, blacks, herbals, tisanes, Mate’, Chai, etc. We read everything we could find, we tasted hundreds of teas and blends. One day we looked at each other and thought “we need to share our personal discovery with others!” We began to investigate into the possibility of opening our own website to share these wonderful centuries old pleasures with others.

Sally enjoys herbals, rooibos, tisanes, flavored whites, as well as black, green, etc. I enjoy straight blacks, greens, whites, Oolongs, as well as others. So we set off to discover the best of the best. Hundreds of cups later we had our initial product line established. We stood back and realized, “anyone who tastes these teas, are going to be blown away!” We sure were. So after all this time we present to you, our new friends and customers, what we consider our “best of the best!”

Whether a novice, or experienced “tea sommelier,” we are confident that once you partake in the many diverse tastes presented here on our website, you too will be blown away!
